The fees for the 2024-2025 season (Sept-May) are:

Adults : 280Eu
Student/Unwaged 220Eu

Fees cover registration with Badminton Ireland, Court hire and shuttles.

Existing members will receive an e-mail update and invitation to re-register for membership and pay their subscriptions. We operate as a members only basis. New members are welcome to come down and play as a guest and are expected to follow the membership application process described in the membership section of this site.

New lady members are particularly welcome as this allows us to enter more teams for mixed and ladies league teams competitions.

Spaces are limited and the window for new member applications will be short.

For people that are new to badminton we would encourage you to attend some initial training courses run by Leinster badminton or EZbadminton before applying for membership. More information can be found in their web pages EZBadminton.ie and facebook social media sites.

We are please to announce that we will be able to run a few sessions evening sessions before the start of the season. We have three sessions planned –

Cost 10 Eu per session.

This is a great opportunity for potential new members to try out the club and for existing members to get back into the swing (get it?).

We have four courts so we will have plenty of opportunity to have lots of social play. For anyone new to badminton, we will offer some training to cover the basic’s (rules, grips, footwork, technique) so you will be well prepared for the season ahead.

The 2o23 Championships will shortly get underway, all participants need to be available for the finals which will be held on the last night of the club – Thursday May 18th.

There will be no ladies Singles B this year.

Due to the limited number of female entries, there will be only a small number of mixed teams. The Championship committee randomly selected the male players through those that registered an interest in this competition.

During the playoff rounds play will consist of 1 game to 30 points.

Most competitions are based on the knockout format. The mixed teams will follow a round robin format in two groups. The team that scores the highest from each group will go through to the finals.

The playoff sheets will be posted in the club, one or two courts will be used to facilitate the play offs during the club nights remaining in April up until May 18th.
